Summer activities

Pure relaxation

Hike along one of the countless paths to the treasures of nature. The farm Tuschhof is located directly on hiking trail 4A, which leads from Castelrotto to the nearby Marinzen Alm, where within 20 minutes you can reach a small mountain pasture with a cosy place to stop for refreshments, a petting zoo, grazing cows and horses, as well as a fishing pond.

Towards the valley, a hiking paradise opens up, stretching from the Castelrotto fractions of S. Michele, Tagusa and S. Osvaldo via Siusi to the neighbouring municipality of Fiè allo Sciliar. This makes our accommodation an ideal starting point for hikes in the beautiful surroundings of Castelrotto/Kastelruth. Enthusiastic hikers can reach the Alpe di Siusi on foot in about 1.5 hours.

Exploring on two wheels…

Cyclists also get their money’s worth on well-developed trails and cycle paths especially for mountain bikes and e-bikes.

The Alpe di Siusi holiday region and Val Gardena offer an almost 600 km long network of tours at two altitudes from Passo Sella or Passo Gardena to Tires at Catinaccio, which makes cycling possible at almost any time of year. Of course, you can park your bike in our bike cellar and charge your e-bike free of charge so that you can set off on a new journey of discovery the next morning with a fully charged battery.
